Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Tickra uses personal information collected through its launch waitlist and related emails.
Last updated 16 August 2026
Who is responsible for your information
Tickra is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
Privacy enquiries: privacy@gettickra.com
Information we collect
When you join the Tickra waitlist, we collect:
- the email address you provide;
- sign-up information such as the date, source and version of the consent wording shown to you; and
- information about delivery and engagement with our emails, such as whether an email was delivered, opened or a link was clicked.
Our website and service providers may also process limited technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and security logs, to operate and protect the service.
How and why we use it
We use your information to:
- manage your place on the Tickra waitlist;
- send product updates, launch news and occasional Tickra offers by email; and
- operate, secure and improve the waitlist and related communications.
We rely on your consent to send waitlist and marketing emails. We rely on our legitimate interests where necessary to run, secure and improve the service, provided those interests do not override your rights.
Who processes your information
We use trusted service providers only where needed to operate the waitlist. This includes beehiiv Inc., which hosts our subscriber list, sends emails and provides delivery and engagement reporting on our behalf. Website hosting, infrastructure and security providers may also process limited information for us.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or as part of a genuine business reorganisation where appropriate safeguards apply.
International transfers
Some providers, including beehiiv, may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections approved for international data transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your active waitlist record until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or the waitlist and related launch communications end. We periodically review inactive records and remove information that is no longer needed.
If you unsubscribe, we may retain a minimal suppression record so that we can respect your choice. We may also retain limited consent and complaint records for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Tickra email or contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as Tickra develops or our providers and legal obligations change. We will post the current version here and bring material changes to your attention where appropriate.
